Hi, I'm Elliot Lee. "jadebug" is the name for my personal web site and
related projects. This is where I've posted my photography, videography,
illustration, writing, web design, programming, and anything else that
presents a creative challenge.

Elliot Lee has an extensive background in software engineering, project leadership, and online community building. During his studies at Columbia Union College in the late 1990's, he worked part-time for a brand-new company named Red Hat Software. After graduating in 1999 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, he continued with Red Hat full-time. Over the years at Red Hat, his responsibilities included webmaster, desktop developer, build system developer, release engineer, and most recently, Fedora Project director and infrastructure team leader.
In addition to his primary responsibilities, Elliot has expanded his skills through a year in Red Hat's leadership development program, and by filling various auxiliary roles such as systems administrator and employee orientation trainer. In May 2006, Elliot graduated from North Carolina State University with an MBA degree focused on financial management.
